K.B.TilakK. B. Tilak (14 January 1926 – 23 September 2010) was an Indian independence activist, film director and producer. His complete name is Korlipara Balagangadhara Tilak.He was born at Denduluru in West Godavari district, Andhra Pradesh on 14 January 1926. His parents are Korlipara Venkatadri and Subbamma. His paternal grandfather was Gangadharayya. His birth name was Balagangadhara Rao. His father was an Indian Independence activist. He liked Bal Gangadhar Tilak and extended his name to Balagangadhara Tilak subsequently. His maternal grandfather is Akkineni Sriramulu, father of veteran film personality L. V. Prasad and Akkineni Sanjeevi.His last movie direction was Dharma Vaddi in 1982.He won the B. N. Reddy National Award in 2008.

About The Story:
220px-Chitti_TammuduThe story is about the problems faced by children in orphanages, irregularities by the management and the related consequences.
Ramu (Jaggayya) and Subhadra (Devika) love one other. Ramu urgently leaves to Kashmir, and returns home to find that his beloved Subhadra is pregnant, and that her father had died of that insult. She delivers a boy in a mission hospital and dies. The boy is admitted to an orphanage and named Chiranjeevi. Hostel warden Tayaramma (Suryakantam) feeds the orphans with insufficient food and they are starving.
Ramu has an elder sister Seetha (Sandhya) and younger brother Srihari (Kanta Rao). Seetha is wife of a lawyer (Ramana Reddy). Ramu dies of chronic cough and mental agony, leaving the property in charge of his brother-in-law.
